Committees
library
(Chairs: Maria Baker & Christina Schock)
This year-round committee needs volunteers to help with keeping the library organized and tidy. This includes checking in and reshelving returned books, and adding new books to the online catalog. Volunteer time can be weekly, monthly, or as often as you like.
Environmental sustainability committee
(Chair: Ann Zald and Melissa Bacelar)
TCS is looking for WASTE WARRIORS! We need amazing parents to join our new environmental sustainability committee. We want to introduce our community to the impact human beings have on the earth and how we can all contribute to the prevention of climate change.
We will learn about the impact waste has on our environment and implement programs that teach us how to REDUCE, REUSE, and RECYCLE. In the future, we are hoping to add other components of sustainability such as biodiversity and environmental justice. Help us explore these concepts through our on-campus education, zero-waste programs, and field trips. Caring for our planet starts in our homes and at our school. We would love to have you join us!
