Who doesn't love a good party?
TCS Community FUNdraising is one of the most important committees because it's the PA’s primary source of funding for the school. Your participation enables us to create a community within the school, raise money and have some fun doing it. The foundation of our success is not possible without the involvement of all the parents, family, and friends of TCS. We need to get a jump start on booking some parties for the year. If you have the event space and time to host a party but are not the best organizer a member from the committee can help you execute your party. More importantly, every year our teachers are able to host students on amazing outings thanks to our party event sponsors. Party Ideas
Host a LIVE MUSIC NIGHT
Plan a night at your house, backyard, or your favorite restaurant/bar/venue. Find your favorite band or singer and have them play for your guests while they enjoy some appetizers and cocktails
Host a WINE TASTING NIGHT
Rent the Gazebo (up to 35 people) or the School Bus (up to 21 people) at Malibu Wines or hire a Sommelier to come to your house for a wine tasting.
Host a MOVIE NIGHT
Welcome all ages or just adults and have a private screening of your favorite movie at your house or reserve a theater for an exclusive showing.
Host a POOL/BBQ PARTY
Since we live in California we are blessed with warm weather year around. Find a hot day and throw a super fun pool party and grill up some great food.
Host a BINGO NIGHT
Buy up some Ink Daubers, make up a themed bingo card, find a caller and you're in business. Make sure to have some nice prizes ready for the big winners of the night.
Host a ADULT BOARD GAME/TRIVIA NIGHT
Collect all your favorite games like Charades, Cards Against Humanity, Speak Out, Draw What, ETC and have guests come over to play the night away. Winners take home a gift basket or whatever you choose as a prize.
Find your local favorite bar that has an existing trivia night and ask them to sponsor the night with a portion of the proceeds going to the school fundraiser.
Host a KARAOKE NIGHT
Rent some Karaoke equipment and have a fun night singing 80’s songs at your house or rent a room out at one of the local karaoke bars. Examples: Break Room 86, Blind Dragon or one of the many in Korea Town
Host a COOKING CLASS
For those who are creative and love to cook, pull out that apron and teach us a thing or two about your favorite cuisine.
Host a FITNESS/BOOTCAMP CLASS
Whether you are a fitness instructor or have one you love, organize a class to whip TCS booties into shape!
Host a DANCE CLASS
What is more fun than dancing the night away? Put on some music, bring in your favorite dance instructor and learn something new.
