Classroom Peek Week of 6/3-6/7

Take a peek inside to see what vibrant lessons were happening inside of TCS classrooms this week!

In this issue:

  • Red Roomers spent their last week of school before Summer break celebrating friendship and the bonds they’ve made all year.

  • Blue Room enjoyed a week of Favorites! Students spent time creating play doh structures, building blocks and puzzles, and using paints and craft materials during art.

  • Green Room honored Sports this week, hearing a special story by classmate Quentin Zea called Goodnight Baseball by Michael Dahl then creating Sports themed art projects.

  • Yellow Room enjoyed a story time picnic outside this week with a live reading of, For You Are A Kenyan Child by Kelly Cunnane read by Juliana’s mom, Kimberly Lord.

  • Kindergarten friends took their reading outside and enjoyed independent story time by the pond.

  • 1st Grade took their Science lesson outdoors to make their own kinetic sand.

  • 3rd Grade took their reading lesson outside to storyboard scenes from Viking Ships at Sunrise by Mary Pope Osborne.

  • Middle School students paired up with their Kinder buddies for a massive game of Duck-Duck-Goose! on the meadow.
